Founded by Abhivardhan and Jaami Mirza, Internationalism is a mix of law and other relevant multidisciplinary fields that contribute towards the development of International Law and its allied fields.

Social Entrepreneurship

International Law, being a compromise field, always requires the ground of social entrepreneurship to incentivise the role of social entrepreneurship, whether is it the SDGs, or the multidisciplinary implications of international regimes, whether state actors or non-state actors.

Sarthak Roy

Sarthak Roy is a Research Officer at the Office of the International Director for the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI), an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization headquartered in New Delhi, with offices in London, United Kingdom and Accra, Ghana. Sarthak Roy is one of the authors for the Easier Said Than Done (ESTD) series which provides a basis for evaluating Commonwealth countries’ engagement with the UNHRC and considers if their voting behavior in support of resolutions is consistent with their voluntary pledges and commitments to the UNHRC. The latest ESTD report was presented at a side event organized during the 39th UNHRC session at United Nations, Geneva.

Sarthak recently obtained his B.A L.L. B degree from the School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore; his dissertation thesis critically analyzed the peremptory status on the use of force under international law. He represented his law school, at the 59th Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition. Sarthak was the associate editor, for International Review of Human Rights Law (ISSN: 2455-8648). He has published across law journals as well as national dailies. Sarthak contributes regularly for several international law blogs such as South Asia Monitor, Asia and Pacific Policy Forum as well as for A38, one of India’s prominent international law blogs.

Michael Sunkanmi

Olaogun Michael Sunkanmi is an Ekiti born Researcher, Writer, Public Speaker and a trained Public Policy Analyst with years of experience in social development and voluntary service to 3 reputable NGOs in Nigeria which focuses on Democracy, Governance and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights of Young people. Michael holds Graduate and Master degree both from University of Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria during which he had opportunity to serve in diverse leadership positions both within religious and circular systems.

In his quest to nourish his humanitarian passion, he undertook a professional at the Institute for Humanitarian Studies and Social Development, Lagos Nigeria. He holds other short course certificates in Understanding Human Rights, Transparency and Good Governance, He was awarded a certificate of recognition as Emerging Political Leader (Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs and Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership). He is a certified Project Management Professional by Project Management Professional Institute, member of Teacher Registration Council Nigeria and a Fellow of the Prestigious Canvassity Pan Africa Democracy Fellowship under which he had opportunity of joining other nine young Africans to understudy Democracy and Governance in Africa at the African Union Headquarters’ in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia under the initiative of Young Stars Foundation supported by National Endowment for Democracy, Washington DC. He’s a member of World Youth Alliance, Young African Leadership Initiative, and Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria. His research spans through Nigeria’s Budgeting, Health and Education System He has authored a book titled “Believers and Temptations in the World” and several articles addressing youth and leadership issues within Nigeria, Africa and Global context. He mentors several young people across Africa.

Savina Alexieva

Savina Alexieva is a legal enthusiast in every sense of the word. She has been a legal trainee for the Supreme Judicial Council in Bulgaria and for the investigation department at the specialized prosecutor’s office in Bulgaria.

She has been a youth representative to the United Nations. Her experience and knowledge about the concept of International law is essential as in the entrepreneurial initiatives in the field of International Law.

Aditya Mishra

Aditya Mishra, by age is a millennial, an entrepreneurial student from BITS Pilani Hyderabad, India. He is associated with MUN Conferences across India, notably and recently in the 6th Edition of KIIT International Model United Nations, 2018. Being a passionate and humble person by heart, Aditya represented India at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations 2018 – Malaysia and was conferred with achievement of contribution for the deemed purpose. Also, he is the Co-Organizer of TEDx BITS Hyderabad. His contribution to the league is on innovation and development of education of international law and relations, which, in spite of being an engineering student, is notable in the field of social entrepreneurship.
